Stefano Antonucci - Rigoletto*

One of the most appreciated Verdian baritones, Stefano Antonucci distinguishes himself thanks to his lovely, elegant tone and his deep portrayal of the characters he sings. He recently performed: La Traviata in Santiago de Chile, Montpellier, Genoa, Bologna, and at the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago; Rigoletto in Dijon, Zurich and at the Terme di Caracalla in Rome; Adriana Lecouvreur (Michonnet) and La Bohème in Florence. Mr. Antonucci regularly collaborated with such conductors as Lorin Maazel, Georg Solti, Gianandrea Gavazzeni, Vladimir Delman, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Donato Renzetti. He recorded Mercadante's Virginia for Opera Rara (2008) and Donizetti's Adelia for BMG-Ricordi. Future plans include: Rigoletto at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari.


Annunziata Vestri

Annunziata Vestri - Maddalena

Winner of “Lauri Volpi”, “Maria Caniglia” and Rosertum Lyric Contests, she made her debut in 2003 as Suzuki. An eclectic artist with bold acting qualities, she can boast a huge repertoire that spans from Bel Canto to Verdi and Puccini's masterpieces. She recently sang Preziosilla in La Forza del Destino at the Teatro Regio in Parma and Ninetta in Les vêpres siciliennes at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, both of them conducted by Gianluigi Gelmetti. She also performed Il viaggio a Reims in Florence, Elektra at the Teatro dell’ Opera in Rome, Madama Butterfly in Bergamo and Novara, Rigoletto in Pisa; she was Irene in Donizetti’s Belisario, for the opening production at the Donizetti Festival in Bergamo and she enjoyed a great success as Rosa Mamai in L’Arlesiana at the Wexford Festival Opera. She made an outstanding TV debut in Carlo Verdone’s movie "La Cenerentola", Rada Film production.

Future plans: La Clemenza di Tito (Annio) in Trieste; Dvorak’s Stabat Mater at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa; Falstaff at the Opéra in Marseille; Il Trovatore at the Festival in Schenkenberg.

 

Fabrizio Beggi

Fabrizio Beggi - Conte di Monterone

In 2011 he started Ensemble Opera Studio at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, where he made his debut in Donizetti’s Il Campanello (Don Annibale Pistacchio) then he performed in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi (Marco e Maestro Spinelloccio) besides Juan Pons; in the world premiere of Oz on the road (Zio Henry); and in Roméo et Juliette (Le Duc).

Fabrizio Beggi won the Toti Dal Monte prize in 2012, after that he made his debut in Cimarosa's Matrimonio Segreto in Treviso, Rovigo, production on tour in the next months in Ferrara. He recently sang Andrea Chénier at the Teatro Regio in Turin, where he will return for Don Carlo. Amongst other future plans it is worth mentioning La Cenerentola (Alidoro) in Ferrara.
